Pune: Bar Cashier Attacked by Group of Assailants in Dhankawadi; Four Accused Booked

Pune: A shocking incident took place in the Madhushala bar in Chaitanya Nagar, where a few people assaulted the cashier of the bar. In this assault, the bar cashier, Lelin, was heavily injured. Meanwhile, the accused also beat the plaintiff, Arvind Lajjaram Yadav (age 19), a resident behind Madhushala Bar, Patang Plaza, Dhankawadi, who came to rescue the bar cashier.

After the plaintiff, Arvind Yadav, lodged a complaint, Sahkarnagar police registered a case against Prafulla Ransingh (26), Ranjit alias Pitambar Ghodke (25), Krishna Sapkal (26), and Gajanan Asalkar (25).

As per the police information, on Sunday night at 12.30, the plaintiff and his friends were eating in the bar. At that time, the accused, Prafulla Ransingh, entered the bar by opening the back gate of the basement of the bar. After entering the bar, Prafulla asked the cashier for the matchbox. When the cashier asked the accused to go outside the bar after giving him the matchbox, the enraged accused abused the cashier.

In the subsequent argument between them, the accused called his friends at the bar and attacked the cashier. The accused assaulted the cashier with glass bottles and the chair. In this attack, the cashier, Lelin, received major injuries. Astonishingly, when the plaintiff went to help the cashier, the accused also attacked and injured the plaintiff.

Police Inspector Pothre is conducting further investigation into the case.
