Bharti Vidyapeeth Police have swiftly solved the murder case of an individual within 48 hours and arrested his wife, who, along with her alleged boyfriend, killed his husband by strangling. Police gathered the information about the incident by going to the hometown of the deceased individual’s wife and cleverly solved the case.

In this case, police have arrested Rani Gopinath Ingulkar (age 32, residing near Sachhai Mata Mandir, Katraj, and an original native of Surwade, Vangani, Taluka Velhe) and Nitin Shankar Thakar (a resident of Kuran, Taluka Velhe).

The deceased Gopinath Balu Ingulkar (age 37) was brought in an unconscious situation to Bharti Hospital at 7:30 a.m. on September 23. Doctors declared him dead before treatment. An autopsy revealed that Gopinath Ingulkar died by strangulation.

When enquired about Gopinath’s death to his wife Rani, she said that Gopinath committed suicide by strangling himself. After that, the Senior Police Inspector D.S. Patil asked Assistant Police Inspector Sameer Kadam, the head of the investigation team, to form four different teams to investigate into the matter.

After that, the Assistant Faujdar Namdev Renuse and Satish More went to Ingulkar’s house and his wife’s native village in Velhe taluka and took information confidentially. In this, they learnt that Rani was having an extramarital affair with Nitin Thakar.

Then the police called her to the police station for interrogation. Initially, Rani gave vague answers, claiming that her husband died by strangling himself. Suspecting this, the police delved deeper into the matter and took Rani into confidence. At that time, she confessed that she strangled her husband to death in connivance with her boyfriend, Nitin Shankar Thakar.

Meanwhile, Assistant Faujdar Namdev Renuse and Satish More got the information that Nitin Thakar was going to flee to the village. Accordingly, the police laid a trap at Swargate and caught him. After that, he also confessed to the crime. In this way, the police have solved the crime within 48 hours.
Both the accused had an extramarital relationship for the last 10 years, and for this reason, they killed Rani’s husband.
