Pune:

A fire extinguisher station has been set up at Survey Number 66 in Mauje Baner through Pune Smart City Development Co. Ltd. The work of the said fire Extinguisher station was completed about 1 year ago, and this station has also been transferred to the Pune Municipal Corporation.

However, despite having a capacity of two fire extinguisher vehicles, this station is still closed. In this regard, the BJP leader and former corporator Amol Balwadkar has submitted a proposal to Pune Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rajendra Bhosale regarding the opening of this fire Extinguisher station soon.

On this, Amol Balwadkar said, “While the Baner-Balewadi-Pashan-Sus-Mhalunge area is growing very rapidly, the housing societies, settlements, and population in these areas are also increasing rapidly. Lakhs of people are living in this area. Therefore, it is necessary to start this fire Extinguisher station immediately for the convenience of the citizens of these areas.”

“There are high-rise buildings in these areas, and 2 modern high-ladder fire extinguisher vehicles, as well as officers and employees, are required for these areas. However, these things should be made available, and this fire Extinguisher station should be started immediately. In this regard, a proposal has been given to the commissioner. Balwadkar added.

Balwadkar has also said that the commissioner has assured that this fire extinguisher station will be started soon after making immediate provision regarding it.
