Pune: Bundgarden Police Nabs Three Accused for Assault and Attempt of Murder

Pune: Yesterday, on August 19, two individuals were severely assaulted by a few individuals in the Maruti Mandir Chowk of Tadiwala Road, in which the victims received severe injuries.

In this case, Ganesh Sanjay Pole (age 19, a resident of Tadiwala Road) filed a complaint at Bundgarden Police Station. Accordingly, police have booked and arrested three individuals under the charges of attempted murder.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Saurabh Timappa Dhangar alias Saurya (age 40), Akash Rahul Pandit alias Zingya (age 37), and Sahil Raju Waghmare alias Sonya (age 23), all residents of Tadiwala Road.

As per the police information, the plaintiff, his friend Rohan, and Rohan’s son Ronik went for a haircut on Monday evening. While returning on a bike after the hair cutting, three accused halted them in Maruti Mandir Chowk on Tadiwala Road. Suddenly, the accused took Rohan’s son aside and unleashed a brutal attack on the plaintiff.

One of the accused, Saurabh, took a fighter from his pocket and started assaulting the plaintiff in the face. Whereas, the other accused started beating the plaintiff with a wooden stick by abusing him.

When the plaintiff cried for help, the accused threatened to kill people if any one of them tried to save him. Further, when the plaintiff’s friend, Rohan, tried to save him, the accused also beat and injured him. The plaintiff also complained that the accused hurled stones towards him when he started running away from there.

In this case, the police registered a case of attempted murder and arrested all three accused. Police sub inspector Garkal is conducting further investigation into the case.
