In the Wadale Vasti area of Loni Kalbhor, a syndicate of a few people attempted to kill a businessman by stabbing him with a machete over an earlier animosity. In this regard, Vijay Shrirang Kalbhor (age 46, a resident of Raiwadi, Loni Kalbhor) has lodged a formal complaint at Loni Kalbhor Police Station.
Accordingly, police have registered a case of attempted murder against Sonya, alias Nikhil Ghayal (a resident of Loni Station, Kadamwak Vasti), and his three to four accomplices. This entire incident took place at around 4 p.m. on Monday in the Wadale Vasti area of Loni Kalbhor.
Police informed that there was a dispute between the plaintiff, Vijay Kalbhor, and the accused, Nikhil Ghayal. Harbouring the anger of that argument, Nikhil Ghayal called the plaintiff and his brother Deepak Kalbhor on their mobile phones and threatened to kill them while they were on the farm.
After that, when the plaintiff went to his poultry farm, the accused, Nikhil Ghayal, and his three to four accomplices went there on bikes and injured him by assaulting him with a machete. One of them hit the complainant on both his hands with an iron rod and injured him. Meanwhile, other accomplices of the accused pelted stones towards the plaintiff, in which he received serious injuries to both his legs.
When the accused brandished their machetes in the air, the workers working at the poultry farm hid in the farm in fear. Vijay Kalbhor is seriously injured in this attack and is being treated at a nearby hospital. Police Sub-Inspector Ratnadeep Birajdar is investigating further in this case.
