Pune : Case Registered Against Shwetang Nikhalje and Three Others; 39-Year-Old Man Threatened With Murder

Pune: Notorious criminal Shwetang Nikhalje and three of his associates have been booked by the Bharati Vidyapeeth Police for issuing death threats and demanding extortion. A 31-year-old man from Ambegaon Pathar lodged the complaint, following which cases were registered against Nikhalje, Romeo Kamble, Om Gaikwad (Bhimnagar) and Swapnil Kamble (Dhayari).

The accused allegedly summoned the complainant on October 8, threatened him, and took him to the Bhor area where Nikhalje brandished two pistols and threatened to shoot him. Later, in the Shivajinagar area, they threatened him again with a sharp weapon. The accused are currently absconding, and police are conducting a search.
