Pune : In the Vadgaon Sheri area, a gang terrorised and stabbed two youths with a machete due to earlier animosity between them. In this attack, two individuals are heavily injured.

Chandan Nagar police have filed a complaint against eight to ten individuals regarding this attack after Uddesh Shingare lodged a complaint at the police station. This incident took place near Satyam Serenity Society in the Vadgaon Sheri area on Tuesday, August 6, around 11:30 p.m.

The injured individuals have been identified as Uddesh Vilas Shingare (age 27), a resident of Malwadi, Vadgaon Sheri, and Yash Targe (age 19), a resident of Karan Riha Society, Vadgaon Sheri.

As per the police information, on Tuesday, Tingare and his friends, Targe, Siddharth Shelar, Sarthak Dhumal, and Lakhan Pawar, were talking to each other while standing near Satyam Serenity Society in Vadgaon Sheri at around 11.30 in the night. At that time, eight to ten individuals arrived there on bikes and abused Shingare.

While asking the address of the plaintiff’s friend, the accused attacked Shingare. The accused also attacked Yash Targe, who tried to settle the altercation. Shockingly, when the people gathered there after listening to the shouts and screams of others, the group of accused terrorised people by brandishing machetes in the air.

In this matter, a case has been registered against the gang that fled after attempting a murder, and Assistant Police Inspector Siddhanath Khandekar is investigating further into the case.
