Pune: Chaturshringi Police Nab the Fugitive Accused After One Month of Intensified Search (Video)

Pune: The Chaturshringi police have finally detained the notorious criminal who had been fugitive over the month after committing a murder in revenge for the murder of notorious criminal Sudhir Gavas. In this regard, Chaturshringi police arrested Rohit alias Bhorya Madhukar Shinde (age 21, a resident of Urali Kanchan).

In this case, Pravin Kamble (age 36, a resident of Jay Prakash Nagar, Yerawada) had registered a complaint at the police station. As per the police information, a few hooligans had arrived in the Yerawada area on the night of August 5, at around 1 a.m., and vandalised parked vehicles on the road. The accused then attacked the plaintiff with a machete in anger over the murder of the notorious criminal Sudhir Gavas.

Acting immediately, Yerawada police arrested a few individuals in this case. The police also took a public shaming parade of the arrested individuals. Since then, one of the accused, Rohit Shinde, has been escaping from the police arrest.

Recently, the Assistant Police Inspector of the investigation team of the Chaturshringi Police Station, Narendra Patil, received information about the accused’s arrival in Someshwarwadi from his informant. Accordingly, police went there and arrested Rohit, alias Bhorya Shinde.

Police informed that Rohit Shinde is the recidivist accused and has many crimes, such as attempts of murder, extortion, and grave injuries, registered against him at various police stations in the city. For further investigation in the case, he has been transferred to Yerawada Police Station.

This action was taken by the team of Senior Police Inspector Mahesh Bolkotgi, Police Inspector Yuvraj Nandre, Assistant Police Inspector Narendra Patil, Police Ammaldar Constable Dushing Pawar, Palande, Bhangle, Kharat, and Tarange Kumbhar under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Additional Commissioner of Police Manoj Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police Himmat Jadhav, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Anuja Deshmane.
