Pune: Chaturshringi Police Nabs Two Accused in Sus Road Car Theft Case; Seize Stole Car From Them

Pune: In the Tata Tigor car theft case parked on Sus Road, Chaturshringi police have successfully detained two accused. With the help of a tip-off from an informant, police arrested two accused and recovered a stolen car from them.

The detained accused have been identified as Mahesh Shyamrao Shilimkar (age 27), a resident of Mangdewadi, Katraj, and Govind Haricharan Gautam (age 23), a resident of Sutarwadi, Pashan.

In this case, Darshan Prashant Bondarde (age 30), a resident of Sus Road, Pashan, registered a complaint at Chaturshringi Police Station. As per the police information, Bondarde parked his Tata Tigor four-wheeler car, worth Rs 6.5 lakh, near Wakeshwar Chowk on Sus Road, Pashan, on the night of July 8. The next morning, Bondarde came to his parked vehicle, only to see that it had been stolen by some people.

Immediately, he filed a police complaint at Chaturshringi Police Station in this regard. Accordingly, the police started an investigation into the case. During the investigation, police officials received a tip-off from their informants about the accused’s whereabouts. Accordingly, police arrested two accused and seized a stolen car from them.

This action was taken by the team of Assistant Police Inspector Patil, Police Sub-Inspector Pranil Chaugale, Police Constable Shrikant Waghwale, Police Constable Babulal Tandale, Sudhakar Mane, Irfan Momin, Babasaheb Dangde, Vishal Shirke, Kishore Dushing, Shridhar Shirke, Police Ammaldar Pradip Kharat, and Balasaheb Bhangle.

In this, the guidance of Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Additional Commissioner of Police Manoj Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police Himmat Jadhav, Assistant Commissioner of Police Anuja Deshmane, Senior Police Inspector Mahesh Bolkotgi, and Police Inspector Yuvraj Nandre also proved useful.
