Pune: Community Unites for a Successful Tree Plantation Drive Organized by Art of Living
Pune: In a heartwarming display of community spirit, a significant tree plantation drive took place under the noble initiative of Mission Green Earth, organized by Art of Living on July 13, 2024. The event saw over 250 participants, including 120 enthusiastic students, their supportive parents, dedicated teachers from St. Mary School, volunteers from the Art of Living, and a committed team from the Army, come together at Vikram Batra Vihar, near Kendriya Vidyalaya in Lulla Nagar, starting early in the morning at 7:00 am.
The Army team played an instrumental role in the success of the event by generously providing the venue, preparing the pits ahead of time, and ensuring the availability of water tanks and snacks. Their support and meticulous preparations were pivotal, ensuring the event ran smoothly and comfortably for all attendees.
Special appreciation goes to Vidhu Bisht, Art of Living volunteer and teacher from St Mary School, Pune for their outstanding organization of the event for St. Mary School. The event was further enriched by the leadership and dedication of Suresh Paluskar, Vijay Zala & Deepak Korpal from Art of Living. Their efforts and commitment significantly contributed to the event’s success, creating a memorable and impactful experience for everyone involved.
