Pune: Company owner misbehaves with female manager in Koregaon Park area

Pune: A company owner has been booked for misbehaving with a female manager working in a retail firm. The incident took place frequently on the company premises in Koregaon Park and outside from March 5 and June 3 this year.

The 26-year-old woman has lodged a complaint at the Koregaon Park Police Station in this matter. A case has been registered against Mukesh Nayanmal Kalani, a resident of Koregaon Park, under sections 74, 78, and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

According to details provided by the police, accused Mukesh Kalani runs the retail company in the Koregaon Park area, where the victim is a senior corporate manager. The complainant has alleged that the accused frequently tried to engage in inappropriate behavior with her.

The complaint stated that the accused sent gifts to the complainant to her residential address. He also stalked her while she was commuting to and from work. He molested her by calling her to his cabin. He threatened to make her photos with him viral on social media.

The police are investigating further.
