Pune: Creative Foundation helps special children on Devendra Fadnavis birthday, Chandrakant Patil extends all-possible help
Patil promises to support Umed Foundation’s Balak Palak project
Pune: State Minister Chandrakant Patil has lauded social work being carried out by city BJP leader Sandeep Khardekar and his wife Manjushri Khardekar.
Minister Patil said, “Creative Foundation President Sandeep Khardekar is living up to the name of his foundation and is doing creative work. He organises positive and novel programmes. He is always looking for people doing good work. He helps them on some or other pretext. His wife Manjushri also assists him in his work.”
Patil was speaking at a programme held by the foundation to celebrate the birthday of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday (July 22). Essential items for three months were donated to the Umed Foundation, which takes care of the special children.
Manjushri Khardekar, BJP, Kothrud Mandal, President Dr Sandeep Butala, social worker Swati Mohol, Dharm Jagran Manch leader Sitaram Khade, Sumit Dikonda, foundation mentor Seema Dabke, Umed Founder-President Rakesh Sanas and others were present.
Umed Foundation has bought 11-guntha land in Paud. Their Balak Palak project will come up here. This was revealed by Rakesh Sanas.
Appreciating the project, Chandrakant Patil said, “I will help with all-possible resources that I have at my disposal. It is praiseworthy that parents of the special children are also a part of it.”
Sandeep Khardekar said, “The government cannot reach out to all needy people. Hence, those who have resources should help such organisations, which help the special children. It is a tradition with the Creative Foundation to celebrate leaders’ or my birthday in such a way. I am happy that I could help these children on DyCM Devendra Fadanvis ji’s birthday.
“It is very tough to look after the special children. Therefore, the Umed Foundation’s efforts to include their parents in their programme is important.”
Manjushri Khardekar conducted the programme while Rakesh Sanas made the introductory speech.
