Pune: Crime Branch Detains Two More Individuals in Kalyani Nagar Car Accident Case; Accused of Mediating Financial Deal for Blood Tampering
Pune: Another significant development took place in the Kalyani Nagar Porsche car accident case, where the crime branch police arrested two more individuals for assisting in the financial deal between Vishal Agarwal and Dr. Tawre to change the blood samples of the minor accused.
In this case, the crime branch police arrested Aditya Avinash Sood (age 52) and Ashish Satish Mittal (age 36). As per the primary police information, both the accused were in touch with Dr. Ajay Tawre.
The police informed that on the night of the accident, Vishal Agarwal, the father of the minor accused, contacted Dr. Tawre of Sassoon Hospital with the help of Aditya Sood and Ashish Mittal. As per the deal, Vishal Agarwal paid Rs 4 lakh to Dr. Tawre through two individuals, Makandar and Gaikwad, to change blood samples of his son.
During the police investigation, police learnt that Sood and Mittal were mediators in the deal between Agarwal and Dr. Tawre. Accordingly, crime branch police arrested both accused on Monday late at night. Police informed that they both will be presented to the court in the afternoon, and police are demanding their police custody for further investigation.
