Pune: Crowds are growing at Hindustan’s first Ganpati mandal, Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati. Devotees are bowing down to Bappa amidst playing of Sanai-Choughada, blowing of conches and beats of Dhol-Tasha.
Deputy Commissioner of Police R Raja visited the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust. He took ‘Darshan’ and performed ‘Aarti’. Celebration Chief and Trustee Punit Balan welcomed and felicitated DCP R Raja.
Special features of idols and grand decorations are the main attractions of Ganesh Festival in Pune. Pune’s Ganeshotsav is known as Maharashtra’s famous public festival. Devotees visit the city in a large number during this period.
