Pune: Devendra Fadnavis should become Chief Minister: MLA Hemant Rasane

Pune: BJP leader and former Standing Committee Chairman Hemant Rasane won the State Assembly election from the Kasba Peth segment with a huge margin.

He has immediately become active and conducted a survey of the constituency, along with civic officials. Later, he addressed the media. Rasane said, “We published the party manifesto during the Assembly poll. As promised in the document, the garbage-free Kasba Peth segment mission is being conducted. I toured various areas in the constituency and surveyed if garbage was lifted properly. I have issued necessary instructions. Officials would submit a report in a week. Then we will conduct a meeting and a step will be taken forward in that direction. I appeal to citizens to participate in the mission and put forth their suggestions.”

Commenting on names circulating for the Chief Minister’s post, Rasane said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Party National President JP Nadda and Maha Yuti top leaders will decide about the post. I am a worker of the party. Therefore, I wish my leader Devendra Fadnavis becomes the Chief Minister.”
