Pune: Dilip Khedkar faces new trouble as tehsildar files complaint
Pune: Dilip Khedkar, the father of controversial ex-IAS officer Pooja Khedkar, is in hot water once again. Tehsildar Dilip Aakde from the Collector’s Office has lodged two pages complaints against him at the Bund Garden Police Station, accusing Khedkar of obstructing official work. Senior police officials have confirmed that an inquiry has been initiated, and further action will be taken based on the findings.
Pooja Khedkar, who previously made headlines for demanding special privileges at the Pune Collector’s Office, is no stranger to controversy. After being transferred to the office as an IAS probationer, she requested separate cabins, personal guards, and even installed amber lights on private vehicles, actions that were widely criticized. Her father, Dilip Khedkar, allegedly pressured the office staff to provide these facilities.
Collector Dr. Suhas Diwase had earlier submitted a report to the government, highlighting that probationary officers are not entitled to separate halls, constables, or other such privileges. Despite this, Pooja persisted with her demands. Now, Tehsildar Dilip Akde has accused Dilip Khedkar of obstructing official duties related to this matter, leading to the current legal complaint.
The police have begun investigating the complaints and have summoned the concerned tehsildars for questioning. However, it has been reported that they were unable to appear today. The investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected as the case unfolds.
