Pune: DyCM Ajit Pawar visits Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati, appreciates work being done by Punit Balan (Videos)

Pune: The Ganpati Festival is being celebrated across Maharashtra with much fanfare. Mandal workers are busy making arrangements for various programmes lined up during the festival.
Meanwhile, DyCM Ajit Pawar on Tuesday (September 10) took ‘Darshan’ of Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati. He admired the work being carried out by Punit Balan.
Addressing the media, Pawar said, “Punit Balan looked into the heritage work (related to Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust) and got it done. I have seen it. I liked it very much.
“Our ancestors started some traditions. They should be preserved in the future. In my opinion, the woodwork and carvings done by them should be preserved.
“I visited the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Mandir earlier. I witnessed the preservation of the heritage. Really, Puneites and the entire Maharashtra should feel proud about this. This resulted in an increased footfall of devotees. This is a good tradition. It unites communities, maintains social harmony. All participate in it enthusiastically.”
