Pune:

In a shocking case of fraud, it has come to light that fake toners were supplied to the Shivajinagar Court for official judicial work. The toner, falsely sold under the name of a reputed manufacturing company, was provided to the judicial administration by a local businessman. Following this revelation, a formal complaint has been lodged against the supplier, who is also involved in selling computer equipment to the court.

The complaint, filed by Uttam Thorat, a 46-year-old employee of Shivajinagar District Court, has led to the registration of a case at Shivajinagar Police Station. Thorat’s allegations point directly at Venkateshwara Infotech Mangalam Brezza, a company reportedly responsible for the fraudulent supply of toners.

According to Thorat’s statement, 30 toners were initially ordered from the company for use in court-related work. The toners were supplied to the Nazar office of the Shivajinagar Court and appeared to be from a well-known brand. However, shortly after use, it was discovered that the toners were defective. After that, the court administration promptly returned the defective toners.

In response, the supplier provided another 30 toners to the court. But, much to the dismay of the court administration, these too turned out to be defective. After that, Thorat contacted an official representative of the renowned toner manufacturing company. To his astonishment, the representative confirmed that the supplied toners were fake.

Outraged by the deception, Thorat filed a formal complaint of fraud against the toner supplying company at Shivajinagar Police Station. Assistant Police Inspector Sanjay Pandhare has been assigned to investigate further.
