Pune: GHRCEM Students Arpeet, Devesh, and Sahil Selected for ISRO Internship
Pune: GH Raisoni College of Engineering and Management (GHRCEM) third year Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) students Arpeet Chandane, Devesh Mhaske, and Sahil Nichat selected for a highly coveted internship at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The students earned this exceptional opportunity as finalists of the Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon 2024.
The Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon, a 30-hour event, was organised by ISRO; and was held at the national level for the first time. The competition attracted 3,062 registrations from premier engineering institutes across India, including IITs and NITs. After a rigorous selection process, only the top 30 teams made it to the Grand Finale, held at the National Remote Sensing Centre, Hyderabad, on 13th and 14th August 2024.
The Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon 2024 brought together some of the brightest minds in the country to tackle complex challenges in space technology. Arpeet, Devesh, and Sahil stood out among the participants, impressing the judges with their innovative solutions and technical expertise. Their success in this competition led to their selection for an internship at ISRO, where they will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the nation’s top scientists and engineers on cutting-edge space research projects.
