Utility items donated to old age homes by Creative Foundation and Western India Forging: Sandeep Khardekar

Pune: State Minister Madhuri Misal has said that if God puts more money in your bank account, you should repay it to society as its debt.

She was speaking at a programme, where NGOs working for the elderly (old age homes), Navratna Vruddhashram and Swami Angan Vruddhashram, were donated essentials for three months while Shantiban Vruddhashram was given a geyser. The Creative Foundation and Western India Forging donated the essentials and the geyser.

Creative Foundation’s Sandeep Khardekar, its Trustee and former Corporator Manjushree Khardekar, Trustee Devendra Bhatia, Satish Kondalkar, Vinayak Katkar, Prateek Khardekar, Rajendra Gadiya and other dignitaries were present.

Madhuri Misal said, “Sandeep Khardekar has been doing social work through his Creative Foundation for so many years. I have attended many such programmes of the foundation. Khardekar has been carrying out social work for many years.

“If God gives us more and if we repay it to society as its debt, we get even more. But if we do not put it to good use, we stop getting money. Workers should continue doing social work.”

Sandeep Khardekar said, “Creative Foundation is always in search of NGOs, which work for society selflessly. We try to make available things as per their requirements. Shantiban Vruddhashram Director Anita Deokar told me that they needed a geyser and diapers for their old age home.

“Navratna Vruddhashram, Vadgaon Dhayari Director Anita Rakde and Swami Angan, Donje, old age home director Anandi Joshi told me that they needed food grain. We donated 360 kg wheat, 180 kg rice, 60 kg sugar, tur dal, edible oil, etc. I also donated 60 shawls, which I got when I was felicitated at various functions, to the old age homes.

“There are many private firms such as Western India Forging and Global Group, which want to conduct social work. We work as a bridge between them and NGOs.”

Manjushree Khardekar said, “We have resolved to reach out to many needy NGOs in New Year to help them out. Interested NGOs can contact us on mobile number 9850999995. We do not donate money. We help by donating utility items. Kalyani Khardekar welcomed guests and proposed a vote of thanks.
