Pune: Hinjewadi Police Arrest School Teacher After Killing Man Over Suspected Affair With Wife
Pune : Hinjewadi police have arrested two people in connection with the brutal murder of a person. After his wife’s photos went viral on social media with a man, the school teacher from Bihar came to Pune and murdered a person by slitting his throat.
The deceased individual has been identified as Praveen Kumar Bhola Mahato (age 26), a resident of Machhahi village of Muzaffarpur district in Bihar. In this regard, police have arrested Rajiv Kumar Nathuniprasad Singh (age 33) and his accomplice Dheeraj Kumar Ramod Singh (age 20).
According to the information, Hinjewadi police received information about the murder of a person in the shed of Green Dream Nursery on Pashan-NDA Road on Wednesday. After investigation, police identified the deceased individual as Praveen Kumar Mahato.
The police immediately formed four teams and started an investigation in this case. In the police investigation, it was revealed that Pravin Kumar Mahato and Rajeev Kumar’s wife had an extramarital relationship. Further, the technical analysis showed that Rajeev Kumar had come to Bavdhan.
Accordingly, police traced the Rajeev Kumar’s location and detained him and his accomplice Dheeraj Kumar from Manpada in Thane district with the help of Kalyan Police.
Rajeev Kumar is a teacher in the government school in Bihar. His divorce case with his wife is pending in court. Rajeev Kumar got the information about the immoral relationship between his wife and Praveen Kumar. Further, their photos with each other also went viral on social media a few days ago.
Seeing that, he came to Pune from Bihar. At around one o’clock in the middle of the night, Rajeev Kumar killed Praveen Kumar by slitting his throat with a knife and then fled to Mumbai. From there he was going to Bihar. In the police interrogation, he also said that he was planning to kill his wife after reaching Bihar. But before that, Hinjewadi police handcuffed him.
This action was taken by the team of Hinjewadi Police Station Senior Police Inspector Kanhaiya Thorat, Police Inspector Rishikesh Ghadge, Assistant Police Inspector Prashant Mahale, Police Sub-Inspector Bandu Marne, Police Ammaldar Balkrishna Shinde, Naresh Balsane, Bapusaheb Dhumal, Yogesh Shinde, Kunal Shinde, Kailas Kengle, Vikram Kudal, Sanjeev Sawant, Santosh Damse, Arun Narle, Karbhari Palve, Datta Shinde, Omprakash Kamble, Swapnil Sable, and Mangesh Lokhande.
Further, the Commissioner of Police Vinoy Kumar Choubey, Joint Commissioner of Police Dr. Shashikant Mahavarkar, Additional Commissioner of Police Vasant Pardeshi, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vishal Gaikwad, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Sunil Kurade also provided significant guidance in this act.
