In this regard, the husband of the deceased woman, Lanesh Dhanaji Aare (age 24), a resident of Laxmikunj Society, Kalas Malwadi, Vishrantwadi, filed a complaint against the accused, Amol Kamble, at Vishrantwadi Police Station.
As per the plaintiff’s complaint, he and his wife, Gauri, met each other in 2022. After that, they fell in love with each other and subsequently got married on March 2, 2022, in Beed. At the time of marriage, Gauri told Lanesh that his schoolmate, Amol Kamble, was in one-sided love with her, and he was also insisting on her in the past to marry with him.
The plaintiff further complained that the accused was constantly harassing her wife due to this. The accused, Amol Kamble, was repeatedly keeping the plaintiff’s and his wife’s photos on Instagram, offering condolences. When the plaintiff confronted him about it, then the accused told him that he would kill him, his wife Gauri, and Gauri’s two brothers.
The plaintiff and his wife have a 1-year-old son, and they were living in Beed. Three months ago, Lanesh had come to Pune at his brother-in-law’s house in Vishrantwadi, as he got the job as driver. From that day on, Amol Kamble was constantly loitering around the plaintiff’s house.
On the day of his wife’s murder, the plaintiff’s wife, Gauri, called him and told him that Amol Kamble had come around their house in the afternoon. However, the plaintiff asked her not to fear and called him if the accused tried to harm her.
However, in the evening, when Gauri was returning to her house with her female friend, Amol Kamble came running and injured her by hitting a machete in her head in front of Trinity School. Gauri was then immediately shifted to the hospital for treatment, but she died the next day while receiving treatment in the hospital. Police are investigating further in the case.
