Pune: Hotspot refusal leads to tragic murder in Pune, Finance company manager killed by four drunkards (Video)
Pune: In a shocking incident, Vasudev Kulkarni, a manager at a finance company, was brutally murdered by four intoxicated individuals after he refused to provide a mobile hotspot late at night. The incident occurred in Hadapsar, Pune, and has sent shockwaves through the community.
The police have arrested the main accused, Mayur Atul Bhosale (19), who worked at a nearby furniture shop in Vetal Baba Colony, Hadapsar. Bhosale, originally from Phaltan, was living with his maternal uncle. The other three involved in the crime are minors.
According to police reports, the tragic event unfolded while Kulkarni was out for his nightly walk near his residence. Kulkarni was working with a very well known finance company in Pune.The four accused approached him and demanded access to his mobile hotspot. When Kulkarni refused, they attacked him with sharp weapon on his face in a drunken rage, leading to his death.
With no clear evidence initially linking the accused to the crime, the police made the arrests after an intensive investigation. Hadapsar Police Station’s Inspector Santosh Pandhare is leading the ongoing investigation into the case.
