Pune: Jayant Patil Held Public Rally in Vadgaon Sheri; Appealed People to Punish Trio of Current State Government

Yesterday, the state president of the Nationalist Congress Party, Jayant Patil, held a grand ‘Jankalyan’ rally in the Vadgaon Sheri constituency for the campaign of NCP (SP) candidate, Bapusaheb Pathare. In this rally, Patil appealed to people to punish the trio of Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde, and Ajit Pawar by defeating the Mahayuti coalition in the upcoming assembly election.
At this time, he said that we must punish those who are serving the rich people by ignoring the poor, hinting at Tingre’s involvement in the Porsche car accident case. Patil also did not receive his honour to pay tribute to the victims of the Porsche car accident case.
While speaking at this rally, Patil appreciated Bapusaheb Pathare’s leadership, his public reach out, and the work done by him for the people. He appealed to the voters in this meeting to elect Pathare with a huge majority and defeat the MLA who defamed the name of Vadgaon Sheri assembly constituency in the state.
Officials, workers, and party activists of Mahavikas Aghadi were present in this rally in large numbers. At this time, Bapusaheb Pathare, Jagannath Shewale, Prakash Mhaske, Jaydev Gaikwad, Rekha Tingre, Shri Tingre, Swati Pokle, Kailas Pathare, Jaywant Gosavi, Sunil Mane, Sagar Malkar, Khandve, and other dignitaries were present on the stage. Ambuj Party, the Republican Democratic Party, and many other parties have extended their support to Bapusaheb Pathare in the constituency.
In his fiery speech, Jayant Patil said, “You should show the state whether you want a MLA who focused on the development or on the destruction. Bapusaheb Pathare is a worthy candidate. He has made continuous efforts to solve the problems of the people of Vadgaon Sheri. In his form, a new phase of development will begin in Vadgaon Sheri. Such a strong candidate should go to the assembly.”
Patil also criticised the BJP government on this occasion. Patil said, “The current government in the state has come to power in a wrong way and continues to do wrong things. Therefore, the state has gone behind by 20 years. This government only gives slogans; however, in reality, it has failed to solve the problems of the people. Development is only on paper, but its benefits have not reached the common people. The BJP government is taking the political advantage by igniting fights between societies and religions. We must defeat them in the coming election.”
Bapusaheb Pathare also expressed his feelings in his speech. Pathare said, “There are candidates in this constituency who do not know what they are doing. They brought this constituency into disrepute in the state. Once elected, I will not let Vadgaon Sheri go down and make Vadgaon Sheri a model of modern development. I am an activist who eats stale bread in a lockup for the water issue. Therefore, I will not fall short of people’s expectations.”
“The people of Vadgaon Sheri have always trusted me. I will not let this faith be broken. My only aim is to achieve development of Vadgaon Sheri, and I will work continuously for that,” added Pathare. In this rally, people were presented in large numbers.
