Pune: A builder was given a flat after they developed a plot. Yet the owner forged documents of the flat and sold it illegally. He also made a duplicate key of the flat and broke a new lock with a hacksaw blade and took forceful possession of the flat.
Dilip Pareshwar Thakur (55), a resident of Mukund Nagar, lodged a complaint at the Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station. Pramod Vishwanath Dodke, a resident of Ambegaon Budruk, and his accomplice identified as Pappu have been booked.
According to the police, the complainant has a partnership firm called Tara Construction. He launched a project on 82-guntha land in Ambegaon. The land owners are Pramod Dodke and Rajendra Bibve. As per a document registered at the Sub Registrar’s office, Dodke handed over 11 flats to be sold to Tara Construction. However, he sold these flats to various people and cheated them. The complainant has possession of flat no. 903. He locked it. However, the watchman said that somebody tried to make a duplicate key of the flat.
Later, the complainant put a new lock to the flat. Pappu came there on September 4 and demanded the flat key. The watchman expressed his inability to give the key. Pappu told him that the flat belonged to his uncle Pramod Dodke, which he had sold to another person. The customer would arrive there. They would perform a puja in the flat. How could the guard stop him from opening the flat? Then he threatened to kill the security guard.
Pappu then cut the lock with a hacksaw blade. He opened the door with a duplicate key and forcefully took possession of the flat. Pramod Dodke fraudulently sold the flat and cheated Vaibhav Gaikwad.
