Pune: Maha E Seva Kendra Owner and Computer Operator Arrested in Bribery Scandal for Income, Domicile Certificates

Pune: In a significant action, the Anti-Corruption Bureau laid a trap and caught an owner of Maha E Seva Kendra and a computer operator woman who asked for a bribe of 5 thousand rupees for income and domicile certificates by claiming their connections in the Tahsil office. Police red-handedly caught two people from receiving a bribe of 2500 rupees from the complainant.
This action was taken on the complaint of a 54-year-old individual. In this regard, police arrested Santosh Baban Walke (age 48, the owner of Gurudev Datta Maha E Seva Kendra, Dighi) and Nanda Raju Shivarkar (age 36, the computer operator at Gurudev Datta Maha E Seva Kendra, Dighi).
A few days ago, the complainant had gone to Gurudev Datta Maha E Seva Kendra in Dighi to obtain income and domicile certificates. At that time, Santosh Walke and Nanda Shivarkar allegedly demanded a bribe of 5 thousand rupees from him for doing these works, claiming they have personal connections in the Tahsil office.
After that, the plaintiff complained about it to the Anti-Corruption Bureau. After verifying the plaintiff’s complaint, the Anti-Corruption Bureau laid a trap and arrested two for receiving more income than permitted from the plaintiff. Police have registered a complaint against two at Dighi Police Station.
This action was carried out by the Pune Anti-Corruption Bureau under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Shirish Sardeshpande and Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Sheetal Janve. The police inspector, Veernath Mane, is investigating further in this case.
