Pune: Parivartan Mahashakti Organiser and Swarajya Party President Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje has claimed that Rashtriya Samaj Paksh President Mahadev Jankar could join them.

He said, “We are holding talks with Rashtriya Samaj Paksh President Mahadev Jankar. I have personally spoken to him. I am confident that he would join us.”

The Parivartan Mahashakti comprises the Swabhimani Party of Raju Shetti, the Prahar Apang Krantikari Sanghtana of Bachchu Kadu and the Swarajya Party. A joint meeting of the three parties and some other organisations took place in Pune on Thursday (October 17).

Later, Sambhajiraje addressed a press conference, in which he made the claim about Mahadev Jankar. He said that some important leaders in the State would join the Parivartan Mahashakti. He hastened to add that they would not naturally get the ticket for the State Assembly polls just because they would be denied the ticket by their party. They would field candidates after checking their backgrounds.

When it was brought to the notice that Jankar declared that he would not align with the Maha Yuti and would contest independently, Samabhajiraje said that they were holding talks with Jankar.

Raju Shetti and Bachchu Kadu confirmed it. Sambhajiraje said, “The Parivartan Mahashakti follows the teachings of Phule-Shahu-Ambedkar. We want to work for the poor, the downtrodden, the deprived and daily wagers. All those subscribing to this view would be welcomed in the Parivartan Mahashakti,” said Sambhajiraje.
