Pune: Man Assaults Father, Threatens Acid Attack on Girl After Rejected Marriage Proposal
Pune:In the anger of being rejected for marriage, an individual assaulted the father of a girl with hands and legs and threatened the girl with an acid attack. In this regard, a 21-year-old young girl lodged a complaint at Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station.
Police filed a case against Aniket Shyam Misal, age 28, a resident of Navrang Society, Gulab Nagar, Dhankawadi. This incident has been going on since February of this year.
According to the police information, the plaintiff and the accused, Aniket Misal, were friends of each other. A few days ago, Aniket proposed to the plaintiff for marriage. However, when the plaintiff rejected her proposal, the accused got furious and beat her father with hands and legs. Further, the accused also threatened the plaintiff that he would attack her with a blade and throw an acid on her.
The accused also blackmailed her for circulating their private and obscene photos. The accused did not stop here. When the plaintiff blocked his mobile number, the accused started following her on various social media platforms and started abusing and threatening her. The accused is also calling the relatives of the plaintiff and spreading misinformation about her.
After the complaint filed by the plaintiff, Police Sub-Inspector Bhosale of Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station is conducting further investigation into it.
