Pune: Man Held in Viman Nagar for Snatching Motorcycle and Intimidating Owner

The Viman Nagar police have arrested a ruffian for purportedly taking away the young man’s motorcycle, saying that he liked his bike, and for threatening him. The arrested accused has been identified as Hrithik, aka Takkyabhai Gautam Avadhut (age 25, a resident of Sanjay Park Slum, Viman Nagar).
In this regard, Malhar Nikam Patil has given a formal complaint at the Viman Nagar police station. This incident took place on Sunday at four p.m. near the pan shop in CCD Chowk in Viman Nagar.
According to the police information, the plaintiff was going home on his bike on Sunday afternoon. At that time, the accused, Hrithik, stopped the plaintiff and took away his bike from him, saying that he liked the bike. When the plaintiff demanded his bike returned from him, the accused allegedly abused the plaintiff and threatened to kill him by brandishing a machete in the air.
Similarly, the plaintiff also obstructed the plaintiff’s friend, Atharv Satav’s route, by placing his bullet in front of his bike and threatened to kill him. Therefore, Viman Nagar police arrested the accused, and Police Sub-Inspector Navnath Kshirsagar is conducting further investigation in this regard.
