Pune: Man Molests Friend’s Fiancee, Assaults Him During Party; Case Registered in Pune

In a shocking incident, a person who invited his friend to a party molested a friend’s fiancée’s in an inebriated state and allegedly assaulted his friend by hitting a glass bottle in his head when he confronted him about it.

In this regard, Rohit Mahendra Patil (age 30, a resident of Bhosale Nagar, Shivaji Nagar) and a 26-year-old girl have filed a complaint at Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station. Accordingly, the police have registered a case against Aagam Prasad (age 30, a resident of Telco Colony, Datta Nagar).

The incident took place at 1 a.m. on Tuesday at the accused’s house in Telco Colony in Datta Nagar.

As per the police information, Agam Prasad’s marriage is fixed. Therefore, he invited his friend Rohit Patil to his house. Both of them were sitting and drinking alcohol in Prasad’s house. After some time, the accused called his girlfriend to his flat. After Rohit Patil fell asleep in the bedroom, the accused started staring at the girl with bad intentions. He also held her right hand and behaved in a way that would make her feel embarrassed.

Because of this, the girl was shouting at the accused. Hearing their voices, the friend who was sleeping in the bedroom woke up and came out. Shockingly, when he confronted the accused about it, the accused assaulted them both with his hands. The accused scratched the complainant’s neck and broke his glasses. Further, the accused hit a liquor bottle on the complainant’s friend’s head and injured him by hitting that broken bottle in his right hand.

The accused did not stop here, and he further stabbed and injured his friend with a knife and threatened both of them. The Police Constable, P.D. Tapre, is conducting further investigation in this regard.
