Pune: Man Stabbed After Confronting Ruckus-Makers Outside His Home in Chikhali
Pune: Upon confronting the individuals for creating a ruckus at the door of the young man, three accused attempted to kill him by stabbing with a knife. This incident took place on the side of the road leading from Hargude Vasti to Pawar Vasti at 9:30 p.m. on Monday.
Umeshkumar Dipparmeshwar Ram (age 22), a resident of Hargude Vasti, Chikhali, lodged a complaint in this regard at Chikhali Police Station. Accordingly, police arrested Yamraj Devisingh Katuwalra and Indra Dhansur Thapa, both residents of Hargude Vasti, Chikhali, and Ramesh Khatkabahadur Khatrira, a resident of Phule Nagar, Chinchwad.
In this case, police informed that the plaintiff was having dinner inside his house with his roommate on Monday. At that time, a few individuals were talking outside his house and knocking loudly on his door. When the plaintiff opened the door, he saw three people standing at the grocery shop near his house.
When the plaintiff confronted the accused for creating a ruckus outside his door, the enraged accused abused the plaintiff and started assaulting him. One of the accused, Yamraj, took a knife from his pocket and attempted to kill the plaintiff by stabbing him on the neck and left side of his body.
Assistant Police Inspector Kharge of Chikhali Police Station is conducting further investigation.
