Pune: Man Uploads Intimate Video of Woman on Porn Site After She Refuses Marriage Proposal; Case Filed
Pune : In a shocking incident, a man allegedly uploaded an intimate video of a woman in a compromising state to a pornographic website after she refused to marry him. The video was reportedly recorded without her knowledge during a consensual relationship.
The 24-year-old woman, who works as a manager at a company, lodged a complaint at Alankar Police Station. Based on her statement, a case has been registered against Vinay Shirish Kulkarni (27), a resident of Phulewadi, Ring Road, Kolhapur. The incident reportedly took place between December 30, 2023, and May 12, 2025.
According to police, Vinay Kulkarni, an automobile engineer, was in a relationship with the woman for about two years. They were close and had consensual physical relations during that period. Unbeknownst to her, Vinay allegedly recorded private videos. After the relationship ended and she declined his proposal for marriage, there had been no contact for the past year.
The woman came to know about the leaked video when one of her friends spotted it on a porn site and immediately informed her. She then approached the police, and a case has been filed under relevant sections. The investigation is being led by Senior Police Inspector Sunita Rokade.
