Pune: MLA Ravindra Dhangekar comments on Dr Puja Khedkar episode

Pune: Congress MLA Ravindra Dhangekar has criticised probationary IAS officer Dr Puja Khedkar for her controversial conduct and her subsequent transfer from the District Collectorate, Pune to Washim district.
Khedkar as a trainee officer is not entitled to an official residence, a car and a separate office till she finishes her probation period. However, she was insisting on having all these facilities and more with her seniors. She also violated rules by displaying the amber lamp on her personal car.
Condemning such officers, Dhangekar said, “Such IAS officers are a taint on the system. Nothing happens after they are transferred. They should be suspended. Her father made a bogus certificate for her. Her creamy layer certificate, medical certificate should be examined. She is behaving like this because she has been brought up in this manner. There are many Puja Khedkar-like officials in the system. The system will improve only if stringent action is taken against them. Such officers behave arrogantly with common people.”
