Recently, an audio tape demanding Rs 40 lakhs was aired on social media, claiming to provide the question paper of the Maharashtra Group B Combined Preliminary Examination, which was conducted on February 2 by MPSC. This caused a big stir among the students. After that, the Pune Police took serious note of the issue and started an immediate investigation into the case. However, in the investigation, police found connections of the case straight to Madhya Pradesh.

In this case, Pune Police have now arrested a 27-year-old youth from Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh. The name of the arrested youth is Deepak Yashwant Sakre. Earlier, the police had arrested three people. After Sakre’s arrest, a total of four people have been arrested by police in this case.

The police are currently looking into the specifics of this instance. It was previously claimed that a female officer was the primary mastermind behind this case. However, the question of whether this racket was being run from outside the state has come up after Sakre was arrested by police from Madhya Pradesh.

Earlier, the police had arrested Yogesh Surendra Waghmare (27 years) from Bhandara district. Police informed that during the investigation, they found that Waghmare and Sakre had called some students and demanded money from them regarding the supply of the MPSC Combined Preliminary Exam paper.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered in this regard at Bundgarden police station. A thorough investigation is underway, and two more accused are suspected in this case. They are being searched by Pune police. The names of the absconding accused are Ashish Kulpe and Pradeep Kulpe.

After being taken into custody from Bhandara, the police are investigating Yogesh Waghmare in Pune. According to sources, the primary mastermind behind this case is a female officer who is related to the fugitive accused Kulpe brothers. It is alleged that both brothers carried out these calls under her direction.

Meanwhile, police are investigating other accused involved in this case along with that female officer.
