Pune: MSRTC plans for Ganeshotsav, 325 ST buses to ply on Konkan route

Pune: The Ganpati Festival is four days away. Additional buses will run on the Pune-Konkan route to cater to people visiting their native during the festival.

Around 5,000 more buses will head towards Konkan from various places across the State while extra 325 ST buses will run on the route from Pune. All seats in these buses have already been reserved. In the case of more rush at the bus stand, more buses will be made available by the MSRTC.

*Passengers have booked ST bus tickets online

*Some passengers have also booked tickets at the booking window

*Additional buses will start plying to Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri from Wednesday (September 4)

*The highest number of buses (200) will be running on the Konkan route on Thursday (September 5)

*75 from Vallabh Nagar Bus Stand

Pramod Nehul, Divisional Controller, ST Division, Pune, said, “The Pune Division has made available a maximum number of buses for passengers travelling to Konkan. Buses from the low-response routes will be running on the Konkan route.”
