Pune: Nanded City Police Arrested Two Recidivist Accused; Seized Two Country-Made Pistols

In a significant action, the police have seized two country-made pistols and one cartridge from two criminals who have been committing crimes since they were minors. The police took this action on Sunday evening at around 7:30 p.m. in the Ambai Dara in Dhayari.
In this regard, police have also arrested two accused, who have been identified as Sajan Vinod Shah (age 19, a resident of Dhayari Gaon) and Kunal Shivaji Puri (age 18, a resident of Dhayari). This action has been taken based on the complaint lodged by Police Amaldar Purushottam Gunla at Sinhagad Road Police Station.
The plaintiff, Police Amaldar Purushottam Gunla, is currently working at Nanded City Police Station. On Sunday, while he was patrolling with his colleagues in the area, he received a tip-off from an informant that two men were waiting for someone at Ambai Dara in Dhayari and had firearms with them. Accordingly, the police went there and arrested the two accused.
When the accused were patted down, the police found two country-made pistols and a live cartridge in their possession. As per the police details, both the accused had complaints registered against them when they were minors. Assistant Police Inspector Pravin Jadhav is investigating further regarding where the accused got the pistols from and for what purpose they purchased them.
