Pune: One Individual Killed, One Injured in Accident on the Shirur-Satara Highway
Pune: A tragic accident took place at Nagargaon Phata on the Shirur-Satara Highway, in which one man was killed and another individual was heavily injured. This incident took place yesterday, on August 5, in front of the Annapurna Hotel at Nagargaon Phata.
The deceased individual in this accident has been identified as Manojkumar Sonyabapu Auti (age 32), a resident of Ralegan-Siddhi, Taluka Parner, District Ahmednagar, whereas the injured individual has been identified as Sagar Raosaheb Bhujbal, a resident of Kopargaon, Ahmednagar. In this regard, Labhesh Ganpatrao Auti filed a police complaint.
As per the complaint filed by Labhesh Auti, police lodged a complaint against container driver Datta Changdeo Sonawane. As per the police information, the container driver, Datta Sonawane, was speedily driving the container (NL 01 AE 8252) on the highway. In this, he rammed a Swift car (MH 12 HZ 7577), which was being driven by Manojkumar Auti.
The impact of the collision was so severe that the Swift car driver, Manojkumar Auti, died on the spot. This impact also injured Sagar Bhujbal. After the accident, Bhujbal was rushed to the hospital, and he is taking treatment at the hospital. Police Inspector Jotiram Gunjawate is conducting further investigation into the case.
