Pune: Owner of the Society Booked by Dighi Police for Negligence in Three-Year-Old Girl’s Death
Pune: Two days ago, the entire Pimpri Chinchwad city mourned the tragic demise of three-and-a-half-year-old girl, Girija Ganesh Shinde, who lost her life after an iron gate collapsed on her while she was playing. After that, the father of the deceased girl, Ganesh Shinde, filed a complaint against the owner of the Vrindavan Society at Dighi Police Station.
Accordingly, Dighi Police have filed a complaint against the owner of the society, Srinivasalu Saminareddy, and his mother for carelessness and negligence.
Two days ago, the deceased toddler Girija Shinde was playing in Lane No. 2 of Ganesh Nagar, Bopkhel, along with her friends. At that time, two of his friends entered society and pulled the gate. However, as the gate did not have any stoppers, it collapsed on Girija’s body, which led to her tragic demise.
Following the incident, people were demanding the registration of a complaint against the owner of the Vrindavan society. Accordingly, Dighi police booked the owner today under the charges of negligence. However, he has not been arrested by police yet.
