Pune: Passenger Registered Complaint Against Employees of Spice Jet Airlines in Stealing of Money from His Luggage
Pune: An unexpected incident has come to light in Pune where a case has been registered against the employees of Spice Jet Airlines at Lohegaon Airport in the case of theft of cash from a passenger’s luggage.
In this regard, Arjun Dhondiba Jagtap (age 47), a resident of Viman Nagar, had lodged a complaint at Viman Nagar Police Station. This entire incident took place at Lohegaon airport in Spice Jet flight number SG 52 between 12:10 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to the police, the plaintiff landed at Lohegaon Airport from Dubai in a Spice Jet aircraft on Tuesday. When his luggage bag came off the belt after checking, he found the lock of the bag to be broken. As a result, the bag worth Rs 10 thousand was damaged. Further, when he checked his belongings in the bag, he found out that the cash of 7 thousand rupees kept in the bag was stolen.
As there was no disclosure on behalf of the airline company regarding the incident, Jagtap filed a complaint against the company at Viman Nagar Police Station. Police Sub-Inspector Ganesh Salunkhe is investigating further in this case.
