Pune: Passenger Throws Brick at PMPML Bus, Gets into Fight with Driver After Being Stopped from Using Rear Exit

Just two weeks after a video of a scuffle between a PMPML bus driver and a two-wheeler rider at Loni Station Chowk went viral, another such incident has grabbed public attention.
On Wednesday morning, a heated argument escalated into a physical fight on a PMPML bus after a passenger was stopped from exiting through the rear door a move prohibited by the PMPML regulations. The incident took place around 9:15 a.m. on Bus No. 167A, which operates between Wagholi and Bhekrai Nagar, near Amanora Mall.
In the viral video circulating on social media, the passenger is seen throwing a brick at the bus door and getting into a hand-to-hand fight with the driver. The conductor can be seen recording the incident, while another passenger steps in to break up the altercation.
According to available information, the passenger had missed his intended stop due to the crowd inside the bus. When he attempted to exit from the rear door near Amanora Mall, the driver instructed him to get off at the next stop. This led to a verbal argument that quickly escalated into a physical confrontation. A formal complaint has been lodged with the PMPML department regarding the incident.
