Pune: Candidates from Ward No. 04 (Kharadi-Wagholi) took out development padyatras in the morning and evening, engaging directly with citizens. The morning march began at Rajaram Patil Nagar and passed through Tuljabhavani Nagar and the Aaple Ghar area before concluding in the MHADA परिसर. The evening phase started from Khulewadi and moved through Shriram Nagar, Shri Park, and the Parashar Society area.

During the padyatra, BJP-RPI Mahayuti’s official Group D candidate Surendra Bapusaaheb Pathare interacted with residents and presented his vision for development. “A development blueprint can succeed only through coordination among elected representatives, citizens, and the administration. Planning will be guided by people’s needs, suggestions, and expectations. Our goal is development that delivers real, measurable outcomes,” he said.

Citizens raised issues related to basic amenities, which were duly noted. Emphasising participatory planning, Pathare along with Shailjit Jaywant Bansode (Group A), Ratnamala Sandeep Satav (Group B), and Trupti Santosh Bharane (Group C) expressed confidence that a people-driven development plan would ensure holistic growth of the ward.

The padyatra fostered positive dialogue and strengthened citizens’ belief that their active participation is vital to the development process.
