Pune: Phoenix Mall administration gets Bomb threat email
Pune: An email sender has been booked for threatening to trigger a bomb blast at the Phoenix Market City mall on Ahmednagar Road.
Aditya Rajesh Shitole (30), a resident of Vadgaon Sheri, lodged a complaint at the Vimantal Police Station. Shitole works as a manager in the mall. Shitole read the email sent to senior manager Sandeep Singh on Saturday afternoon. Thus, the threatening email was revealed. The email sender’s name is Hidnus Bone. Later, the mall administration alerted the police.
The Bomb Disposal and Diffusion Squad (BDDS) examined the mall and did not find any bomb or bomb-like object in the mall. The email stated, ‘I am fed up with my life. Nobody will survive in the mall. Pogo and Noro are torturing me’. The police started a technical analysis and the email sender was being traced.
