Pune Police Constable Dies by Suicide at Home; Department in Shock
Pune: A shocking incident has come to light where a police constable from the Pune Police Department died by suicide by hanging himself at his residence. The deceased has been identified as Sachin Harishchandra Surve, who was posted at Khadak Police Station. The tragic incident occurred on Friday afternoon at his home, sending shockwaves through the department.
The exact reason behind his extreme step is still unclear. The Shivajinagar Police have registered a case of accidental death and are conducting further investigation.
As per initial reports, Surve was recently transferred to Kondhwa, and this might have contributed to his distress, though no official confirmation has been given.
