The owner of the tempo that was seen travelling in the reverse direction in the video is named as Shravan Waghmare. He was booked by Hadapsar police after the police constable, Umesh Machhindra Shelar, filed a complaint against him.

As per the police information, work under the PMC was going on for the divider at the Ramtekdi flyover on August 3, and Waghmare was working on the construction of the divider at the Ramtekdi flyover.

At that time, Shravan Waghmare, the driver of a tempo used at the workplace, forgot to apply hand-break to the tempo while parking the tempo on the slope. Because of this, when Waghmare got out of the vehicle, the tempo started travelling in the reverse direction on the slope.

Fortunately, no one was injured, as there was no traffic on the flyover at night. This truck then travelled almost 500 meters in the reverse direction without a man until it stopped after being hit by the divider. The Hadapsar police have booked the accused tempo driver for negligence.
