Pune: Post-Mortem Reveals Murder Conspiracy; Police Arrest Wife and Her Boyfriend in Husband’s Murder Case

Pune: In a shocking incident, the wife has murdered her own husband with the help of her boyfriend in Warje Malwadi. The wife has strangulated her husband to death in the night.

The murdered individual has been identified as Gopinath Balu Ingulkar (age 37, residing near Dugad School, near Sachhai Mata Mandir, Katraj). In this regard, the Bharti Vidyapeeth Police have arrested his wife, Rani Gopinath Ingulkar (age 32), and her boyfriend, Nitin Shankar Thakar (age 45, a resident of Kuran, Taluka Velha).

The deceased individual’s brother, Sambhaji Balu Ingulkar (age 44, a resident of Vrundavan Colony, Santosh Nagar, Katraj), has lodged a complaint in this regard at Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station.

Police informed that Gopinath Ingulkar was employed as a porter in Market Yard and was suffering from diabetes. On September 23, Gopinath Ingulkar was found dead in the house. When police enquired about the incident with his wife, she informed them that Gopinath was tired of suffering from diabetes, and hence he died by strangling himself.

She further said that Gopinath was constantly asking her to kill him as he did not want to live. Therefore, he died by strangling himself. Initially, police registered it as accidental death and sent the body for a post-mortem. However, during the post-mortem, doctors said that the death was due to strangulation. They also said that no one can die by strangling oneself.

Meanwhile, the police have learnt about the relationship between Rani Ingulkar and Nitin Thakar. In the subsequent investigation, Rani confessed to the police that she killed Gopinath Ingulkar by strangling him as he was coming in between her relationship with Thakar.

After that, they were arrested by police, as informed by Senior Police Inspector Dashrath Patil. Assistant Police Inspector Dodmise is investigating further into the case.
