Pune: Punit Balan Group holds Fourth ‘Friendship Trophy’ 2025 Cricket Championship Tournament

Rangari Royals, Samarth Challengers, Shivmudra Blasters and Ramnbaug Fighters reach semi-finals
Pune: Rangari Royals, Samarth Challengers, Shivmudra Blasters and Ramnbaug Fighters reached semi-finals by beating their rival teams and reached semi-finals on Sunday (March 9) on the sixth day of the Fourth ‘Friendship Trophy’ 2025 Cricket Championship Tournament organised by Punit Balan Group (PBG) for teams represented by city-based Ganpati mandals, Navratra mandals and Dhol-Tasha pathaks.
The matches are being played at the LR Shinde High School Ground in Sahakar Nagar. Samarth Challengers defeated NuMaVi Stallions by 57 runs due to an all-round performance by Mac Pardeshi, who scored 60 runs. His teammate Sagar Indulkar hit 57 runs taking the total of their team to 151. However, the winners restricted NuMaVi Stallions to 94.
Similarly, Ramanbaug Fighters registered a win against Nadbrahma Sarvavadak by 26 runs following Satyajit Pale’s all-round play. Ramanbaug Fighters batted first and raised a total of 108. However, Nadbrahma Sarvavadak could score 82 runs.
Rangari Royals secured their place in the semi-finals by defeating Mahalaxmi Mavericks due to 52 runs scored by Kailas Vyas and their bowlers’ flawless performance. Later, they restricted Mahalaxmi Mavericks to 64 only. Akash Thakkar and Vishal Mudholkar took two wickets each for the winning team and cleared the way for their victory.
Shivmudra Blasters defeated Shriram Pathak by 8 wickets. Tanishka Babar’s 46 runs played a major role in their win.
