Pune: Punit Balan Group organises Fourth Friendship Trophy 2025 Cricket Championship Tournament

Mandai Masters, Samarth Challengers, Garud Strikers, Shriram Pathak, Nadbrahma Sarvavadak, Mahalaxmi Mavericks, Shivmudra Blasters emerge winners
Pune: Mandai Masters, Samarth Challengers, Garud Strikers, Shriram Pathak, Nadbrahma Sarvavadak, Mahalaxmi Mavericks, Shivmudra Blasters defeated their rival teams in their respective maiden match on the second day on Wednesday (March 5) of the Fourth Friendship Trophy Cricket Championship Tournament organised by Punit Balan Group (PBG).
The competition is underway at the LR Shinde High School Ground in Sahakar Nagar. Mandai Masters easily beat Janardan Giants without losing a single wicket. Atharva made a brilliant half century for his winning team and played a crucial role. Samarth Challengers had a cakewalk against the previous champions Sai Power Hitters by defeating them by 62 runs. Mac Pardeshi’s all-round play helped them win the match. Garud Strikers easily defeated Dagdusheth Warriors by seven wickets due to Chaitanya’s all-round performance.
Shriram Pathak had an excellent start after they trounced Bhagat Singh Legends by 52 runs. Sagar Puri played an unbeaten knock of 74 runs for the winning team. Nadbrahma Sarvavadak beat Sai Power Hitters by seven wickets on the basis of Sam Mogal’s 71 (not out).
Last year’s runner-up team Shivmudra Blasters had an easy win against Yuva Yoddhas, who lost by 82 runs. Rupak Tubaji made 80 (not out) runs for the winning team. Shivam Patil scored 58 runs and played a major role in the victory of Mahalaxmi Mavericks’ by 55 runs against Vishrambaug Nights.
