Resolve to win this year’s tournament, pray to the deity

Pune: Punit Balan Group’s Kolhapur Tuskers Team has resolved to win the cup in the Third Season of the Maharashtra Premier League (MPL). The team on Friday (June 6) visited Hindustan’s First Ganpati Mandal Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Mandir, bowed down to the deity and performed the ‘Aarti’, praying for their win.

The Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) has launched the Maharashtra Premier League (MPL) on the lines of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Third Season of the MPL has started and the Kolhapur Tuskers Team contesting in the tournament is owned this year by city-based Young Entrepreneur and Punit Balan Group President Punit Balan. The team has performed excellently in the past two seasons. It was the first runner-up in the First Season.

The team is once again ready to fight it out this year with a renewed vigour. The first match of the team in the league will be played on Saturday (June 6). On the eve of their first match, they sought blessings at Hindustan’s First Ganpati Mandal Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati. They performed the ‘Aarti’ too. Kolhapur Tuskers Skipper Rahul Tripathi, Ankit Bawane, Shrikant Mundhe and all other teammates were present.
