Pune: Purandar Land Record Officer Manisha Bhosale Killed in Car Accident in Khadki

Pune: On Sunday, August 25, a terrible accident occurred in the Khadki railway station area on the Mumbai-Pune highway when a speeding ST bus hit a four-wheeler car from the front. In this accident, a woman officer of the Purandar Land Records Department died on the spot.

The deceased female officer has been identified as Manisha Vijaysingh Bhosale (age 40). Khadki police have registered a case in this matter and detained the bus driver, Anant Punjabrao Uike (age 33), a resident of Narayangaon.

As per the police information, Manisha Bhosale, who was an original native of Kavathe Mahankal, Sangli, and her husband are government officials. Manisha Bhosale was an officer at the Land Records Department, and currently she has been transferred to the Purandar Taluka.

On Sunday, Bhosale had gone to his brother’s house in Chikhali. While returning from his brother’s house, a bus departing from the Shivajinagar Bus Stand en route to Narayangaon collided with her private four-wheeler car from the front in the Khadki Railway Station area.

In this collision, the front part of the car was severely damaged. After the collision, the bus driver lost control of the bus and then hit the two-wheeler biker. In this, the two-wheeler rider also suffered severe injuries.

After the incident, the local police team and residents rushed to the spot and transported the injured individuals to the Sassoon Hospital for urgent medical treatment. However, Manisha Bhosale succumbed to her injuries, and doctors declared her dead upon arrival.

Meanwhile, her husband and brother are in critical condition and are receiving treatment in the intensive care unit of the hospital. In all, 12 people were injured in this accident.

Meanwhile, there was huge traffic on the road following the accident. The police team immediately took the collided vehicles off the road and restored traffic. In this accident, the bus and the car were heavily damaged.
