Pune: Ramdas Athawale prays for Maha Yuti’s win in State polls, visits Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Mandal
Pune: Ganeshotsav is being celebrated across the country. People are participating in the festival in Pune and Mumbai from across the country.
Union Minister for Social Justice Ramdas Athawale visited the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Mandal and bowed down to the deity on Tuesday (September 10). The minister extended good wishes to all and appreciated the work done by Punit Balan for many years.
He appealed to people to come together for such festivals. Celebration Chief and Trustee Punit Balan welcomed Athawale and felicitated him.
Replying to a query, Athawale said, “The way we formed the government at the Centre, we should also come to power in the State in the upcoming elections. The Maha Yuti has formed the government in the State. Though we have got less seats in the Lok Sabha, the issues of Constitution and reservations will not work in the State Assembly polls.
“The State Assembly elections will be fought on the development plank. Therefore, we are sure to form the government. I prayed to Bappa for our success in the polls.”
Adv Mandar Joshi, other office-bearers and a large number of party workers accompanied Minister Athawale.
